SCATTERED STORMS MOVING EAST… “Loud and proud” thunderstorms are moving east early on this Sunday morning across parts of south Alabama and northwest Florida. The heaviest rain over the next few hours will probably happen in areas along and south of Interstate 10. Don’t be surprised to hear loud thunder at times.
The overall risk of severe storms remains low. Any storms that ramp up to strong or severe levels will be capable of producing large hail up to quarter size and gusty winds. The overall tornado risk is quite low.
