You’re going to see about 5,000 things plastered across social media about a severe weather threat shaping up for this Sunday, March 30, 2025.
While much of south Alabama and northwest Florida is technically involved in the Level 2 (out of 5) risk for Sunday, forecast changes can and will happen between now and then. I expect the greatest threat zone to materialize to our north in parts of Tennessee and western Kentucky, most likely. Significant issues may also be possible in parts of north Mississippi and north Alabama.
This does NOT look like a major severe weather event for south Alabama or northwest Florida at the moment. We’ll watch the data over the next few days and have updates posted in the RedZone Weather app.
