ALL CLEAR FOR TONIGHT… ✅ ALL CLEAR for SW Alabama & NW Florida for areas west of Opp, Crestview, and Destin. The severe weather risk for March 15-16, 2025 has ended. Thanks to everyone who watched our 3.5 hours of continuous live coverage.
The Tornado Watch has been cancelled for all remaining counties in southwest Alabama and northwest Florida west of Destin.
Tornado damage is horrendous in parts of Alabama. Gordo was particularly hard hit. Sipsey, AL and Troy, AL too. A fire burned the First Presbyterian Church in Atmore, AL. Horrible! Our prayers go out to everyone adversely affected by these storms.
Count yourself as BLESSED if you weren’t hit because as expected, where the tornadoes did form, extensive damage happened.
