TEMPS NEAR 90° SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AFTERNOONS; ISOLATED POP-UP STORMS… Most communities across south Alabama and northwest Florida will remain dry today, tomorrow, and Sunday. Isolated showers and thunderstorms cannot completely be ruled out, but the overall chance of rain for any given community remains quite low. Just like the last several days, the greatest chances of rain will happen across west Alabama today. If rain and storms happen, the afternoon and evening hours are when activity is expected to occur.
MOSTLY DRY START TO THE WEEK; HIGHER RAIN CHANCES TOWARD END OF THE WEEK… Next week will likely continue the streak of fairly benign weather overall with the overall probability of widespread severe weather remaining near zero on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. There are signs we could see more in the way of showers and thunderstorms toward the end of next week, but details are bit uncertain regarding specifics as of now. I will have updates posted over the next few days in the RedZone Weather app.
APP… If you haven’t already, be sure to download the free RedZone Weather app to keep up with all the latest information on the world of weather in south Alabama and northwest Florida. redzoneweather.com/app is the link for the free download.
