NICE WEDNESDAY; FEW SHOWERS POSSIBLE PRE-DAWN FRIDAY… It does not get much better in terms of weather across south Alabama and northwest Florida. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s and near 80 today with full sunshine throughout the day on this Wednesday. Dry conditions will prevail tomorrow as well ahead of a low-end chance of a few showers on Friday. The upcoming weekend looks picture perfect with highs set to be in the 70s. Full sunshine is likely on both Saturday and Sunday.
LOW-END SEVERE WEATHER RISK THURSDAY TO OUR NORTH; NO ISSUES EXPECTED LOCALLY… The Storm Prediction Center has added a low-end, Level 1 (out of 5) severe weather risk for much of north Alabama, north Mississippi, Tennessee, and far northwestern Georgia valid for tomorrow into tomorrow night. Most spots across the northern part of Alabama will be just fine with general thunderstorms and occasional rain. The concern is that one or two storms may have just enough energy to produce a brief tornado, gusty winds, and/or hail. The risk does NOT include any part of the southern half of Alabama or northwest Florida.
FEW SHOWERS EARLY FRIDAY; DRIER IN P.M. HOURS… Big question marks exist on IF we will have any showers around early Friday morning in the pre-dawn hours. There is a real chance our local area remains completely dry. A few, brief showers cannot be ruled out on Friday morning locally. No severe storms are expected in our local area.
BEAUTIFUL WEATHER THIS WEEKEND… Full sunshine is expected on Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s each day. This will be the nicest weather weekend we have had in quite some time. Make sure to get outside and enjoy it if you can!
