STORMS IN WEST ALABAMA & EAST MISSISSIPPI… Severe thunderstorms capable of producing up to 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail are happening in parts of Choctaw, Sumter, and far northern Marengo counties in west Alabama.
Storms in Mississippi near Meridian, Taylorsville, Bay Springs and Brookhaven, and Laurel continue to move southeast.
The expectation is that these storms in Mississippi will gradually weaken on approach to southwest Alabama. I’ll be watching radar trends over the next few hours.
