TRENDING DRIER TODAY; ONE OR TWO SHOWERS POSSIBLE; HOTTER DAYS AHEAD… Other than one or two passing showers and thunderstorms over the next several hours, most of us across south Alabama and northwest Florida will remain dry on this Tuesday. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s today. We are ahead for an increasingly dry pattern over the next several days.
HOTTER TEMPERATURES COMING LATER THIS WEEK… An upper ridge of high pressure will build into our region as we get into Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. This will pave the way for increasingly hotter temperatures. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s on Wednesday with low 90s on Thursday. Mid 90s are likely for afternoon highs as we get into Friday and Saturday.
SPOTTY STORMS AT TIMES THIS WEEKEND; MOSTLY DRY & HOT… Wednesday through Friday will likely be dry ahead of a few showers and thunderstorms coming back into the forecast for Saturday and Sunday. These will be pulse type, “pop up style” thunderstorms that predominantly occur in the afternoon and evening hours. Storms will be scattered in nature and not every community will have rain this weekend, most probably won’t.
