SEVERE STORM APPROACHING LUCEDALE, MS… A severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and gusty winds is moving east in southeast Mississippi. This storm has prompted a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of George, Stone, and Perry (MS) counties valid until 5PM. Heads up for folks near Lucedale in George County as this storm will move through that general area in the next few minutes.
SPOTTY STORMS LOCALLY… Scattered downpours are happening near Millry, Frankville, Walker Springs, Gainestown, Atmore, Davisville, Bratt, Canoe, Floridale, Holt, and Ponce De Leon. All of these storms are currently below severe limits as of 5PM.
More storms are expected to develop over the next few hours.
