LOUD THUNDERSTORMS EARLY THIS MORNING… In my almost decade of doing RedZone Weather, I can safely say I cannot recall a time in the last 10 years when we have had nonstop thunder and lightning like what we have experienced for the last several hours in Brewton. Nonstop, loud thunder and cloud-to-ground lightning continues across much of the region on this Monday morning. Storms are producing loud thunder near Jay, Flomaton, Atmore, Monroeville, Grove Hill, and Jackson.
A Flood Advisory is in effect for portions of several counties along with the ongoing Flash Flood Warnings in parts of Okaloosa and Santa Rosa counties.
Fortunately, no tornado warnings or severe thunderstorm warnings so far tonight!
