SIRENS SOUNDING IN CASTLEBERRY… Multiple reports have come in over the last few minutes of weather sirens sounding in and near Castleberry in southern Conecuh County, Alabama. THERE IS NO WEATHER THREAT for any community in Alabama or northwest Florida, including Castleberry, as of 12:15PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. Why dormant sirens would start blaring like this out of the blue is a question that should be directed to local EMA officials. We also have received NO information suggesting an active HAZMAT/train derailment situation. Big takeaway is that there is NO weather risk or hazard right now.
