Big rain event is likely next week across the northern half of Alabama where 5-7" of rain is likely. Isolated higher amounts possible across northeast AL. Flooding will be a real concern for areas along and north of I-59/20. Flooding risk will be MUCH lower across SW AL & NW FL. pic.twitter.com/U76iTdei0l

CLOUDY EVENING CONTINUES… Light rain showers and sprinkles continue across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Much of the precipitation you see on radar across the interior areas of south Alabama is not reaching the ground.
WET AT TIMES THIS WEEKEND… Scattered showers will increase this weekend across the region. Temperatures will remain well above our seasonal norms for this time of year.
Rain showers are happening across the far northern part of Alabama with isolated showers to the south. Big snow happening in parts of Missouri.
Next Few Hours for Local Area: Cloudy, temps near 70, passing sprinkles possible. pic.twitter.com/xZUPNumdgs
