HOT, MAINLY DRY MEMORIAL DAY… Temperatures will again approach the 100 degree mark this afternoon across inland areas of south Alabama and northwest Florida as a big ridge of high pressure remains in control of our weather pattern. Other than a few passing cumulus clouds this afternoon, skies will remain mostly clear. Just like the last few days, I can’t completely rule out a rogue shower or thunderstorm before the end of the day. Vast majority of us, however, should remain dry.

DRY, HOT DAYS THROUGH WEDNESDAY… Sunny, hot conditions are upcoming for Tuesday and for Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid-90s with morning lows around 70°. Little to no rain issues are expected.

NEXT RAIN CHANCE… The next notable chance of rain will happen Thursday as a frontal boundary approaches our area from the northwest. Skies will become mostly cloudy on Thursday afternoon with scattered thunderstorms becoming likely. For now, severe weather parameters remain low.
