SHOWERS MOVING NORTH… Several small rain showers continue to lift northward across parts of south central Alabama and northwest Florida on this Thursday evening. It looks like much of the Mobile metro and Pensacola metro areas will be dry as we go into the 5 o’clock rush hour.

LATEST ON SEVERE WEATHER RISK… The story remains unchanged in that we have a low-end, Level 1 (out of 5) marginal severe weather risk through approximately midnight, or at the time the main line of thunderstorms moves across our region. The development of discrete supercell thunderstorms did not happen this afternoon and has not happened so far this evening, thus it appears any stronger storms will happen when the main line of storms moves through. Below is the latest convective outlook from SPC that was updated earlier this afternoon.
