SEVERE STORMS IN WEST ALABAMA… We encourage everyone in Thomasville, Grove Hill, Fulton, Coffeeville, Tallahatta Springs, Zimco, Springfield, Lower Peach Tree, Sunny South, Chatom, Millry, Yarbo, Jordan, and areas near the Washington County Public Lake to be sheltered and away from windows as this narrow band of severe thunderstorms moves through.
You don’t want to be outside or driving during this storm as winds could gust as high as 70 mph. Hail up to the size of a quarter is also possible. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings continue.
