A.M. CLOUDS; P.M. SUN TODAY; QUIET, COOL WEATHER AHEAD… Clouds will progressively move out of our local area on this Tuesday. Most spots will have a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon into this evening. High temperatures on this Tuesday will be in the mid-50s. We are entering a fairly quiet weather pattern over the next 7-10 days with only a small chance of rain noted early next week. We’re also watching a developing system that has a very low chance of bringing some rain to our area on Friday, but that is very much in doubt at the moment. For now, we will advertise cool days and cold nights ahead. Tonight and Wednesday night could feature lows very near the freezing mark. Let’s look at all of your Tuesday forecast details, below.
LOWS NEAR OR JUST BELOW FREEZING NEXT TWO NIGHTS… Temperatures will be very near if not just below the freezing mark tonight into Wednesday morning and again on Thursday morning. Most spots won’t be below freezing very long (1-3 hours in total tonight and 2-4 hours on Wednesday) but we encourage everyone to bring in the outside pets and the sensitive plants.
SUNSHINE THROUGH THURSDAY… After clouds move out this afternoon into this evening, Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly sunny. There could be a few passing clouds Wednesday afternoon and then again as we get into Friday.
COLD FRONT MOVES BY FRIDAY… Passing clouds on Friday will point to another cold front moving from northwest to southeast across our region. Highs on Friday will be in the low-60s ahead of highs only in the mid-50s on Saturday.
COLD, NICE WEEKEND AHEAD… Both Saturday and Sunday look to be dry, for now. Sunshine is expected on Saturday with cold temperatures likely throughout the day. Sunday will also be fairly chilly with highs only in the mid- to upper-50s. Overnight lows will again be around the freezing mark this weekend. Our next rain chance happens late Sunday night into Monday when scattered areas of rain will become possible.
