FEW SHOWERS TONIGHT; COOL, DRY PATTERN THIS WEEKEND INTO NEXT WEEK… Other than a brief chance of rain tonight into early Saturday morning, the next 7-10 days seem quiet with lots of sunshine ahead for next week. High temperatures on this Friday will be in the upper-60s and near the 70 degree mark in most communities across the region. Cloud coverage will increase today ahead of a low rain chance this evening into the overnight hours. Rain chances rapidly diminish on Saturday morning and skies will likely become mostly sunny by Saturday afternoon. More sunshine is ahead for the early part of next week. A few more Friday morning forecast details are below.

RAIN AT TIMES OVERNIGHT… An area of low pressure moving to the southeast will allow for showers to develop, mainly near the coast, overnight. There is a real chance that some communities farther inland may not see any rain at all. Showers will likely remain isolated in nature across our region with this passing system. Rain will likely be gone by 8AM or 9AM on Saturday morning in many locales.

COOL, MOSTLY SUNNY ON SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY… Clouds will clear out midday on Saturday, giving way to mostly sunny skies for the afternoon and evening hours. High temperatures on Saturday will be in the 64-67° range. Temperatures will dip to around 40 degrees by 6AM Sunday ahead of highs in the mid- to upper-60s on Sunday.

QUIET PATTERN NEXT WEEK, WARMING TEMPS… Sunshine seems likely Monday into Tuesday with high temperatures rising from around 70 on Monday to the mid- to upper-70s by Wednesday and Thursday. There are no major signs of extreme cold, winter precipitation, or severe weather next week, as of now. Good news!
