ALL CLEAR BEHIND THE LINE OF STORMS… The severe weather risk drops to zero after this main line of thunderstorms moves through your specific location. As of 4:20PM, we can now give an ALL CLEAR to all parts of Washington, Clarke, Marengo, Choctaw, Wilcox, Butler, and Monroe counties. Lingering showers and thunderstorms (below severe limits) will be possible over the next few hours before rain completely clears out later this evening.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues for much of northern Covington County, including Andalusia, Horn Hill, Babbie, Opp, Rose Hill, and surrounding areas, till 5PM.

HEAVY RAIN & STORMS MOVING SOUTHEAST… The only severe thunderstorm warning as of 4:06PM is in effect for parts of far southeastern Butler County near Oaky Streak and Pigeon Creek and for much of Crenshaw County. Even though there are no official warnings out for Covington or Escambia (AL) counties, please understand that heavy rain is quickly moving into areas near Red Level, Gantt Lake, Straughn, River Falls, Andalusia, Brewton, Flomaton, Atmore, and Poarch. These storms are technically under severe limits as of now. Winds could gust up to 30-40 mph as storms roll through.
