MOSTLY SUNNY TODAY; HOT DAYS AHEAD… Our streak of rain-free days is set to continue on this Tuesday. High temperatures will be in the low-90s again today. Temperatures will creep upward tomorrow and there is a real chance most locales will be in the mid-90s by the afternoon hours of Wednesday and Thursday. Rain chances are slated to remain low, albeit not entirely zero, this weekend. A few more Tuesday morning forecast details are below.
PATTERN SET TO CONTINUE: HOT TEMPS & SUNSHINE… No real forecast changes are needed through at least Friday. Plenty of sunshine is ahead today and over the next few days with high temperatures expected to be in the low- to mid-90s. Overnight lows will be in the mid- to upper-60s. No rain is expected through Friday. The UV index will be quite high each day, meaning the time it takes for all of us to sunburn is not long at all. Keep the sunscreen handy!
LOW RAIN CHANCES FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND… High temperatures will continue to be right around the 90 degree mark this weekend with low-end rain chances. Odds are pretty low that we will have an organized rain event, but there could be a few spotty showers and maybe a few thunderstorms each day. Storms should remain widely spaced and most locales will remain dry.
TROPICS QUIET… No tropical storms are expected to form in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, or Atlantic Ocean over the next 5-7 days. Hurricane season officially kicks off in the Atlantic Basin on June 1.
APP… If you haven’t already, be sure to download the free RedZone Weather app to keep up with all the latest information on the world of weather in south Alabama and northwest Florida. redzoneweather.com/app is the link for the free download. Once you have the app downloaded to your iOS or Android device, be sure to visit the Alerts tab (lower right corner) and tap the large, yellow Alert Settings button to customize the alerts you would like to receive straight from me.
See all the details in your Tuesday morning #rzw forecast video. Have a nice day!

?RIP CURRENTS: #1 weather-related killer at the northern Gulf Coast beaches.
?172: That's the number of #RipCurrent fatalities from 2002-2020 at the beaches covered by @NWSTallahassee & @NWSMobile. That's more than flooding, tornado, lightning, & tropical fatalities COMBINED! pic.twitter.com/9vIRMvcvfZ
