FEW SHOWERS NEAR AL COAST… The last of the showers and storms for the day are decaying near the Alabama beaches this evening. Light rain is happening near Magnolia Springs, Orange Beach, Foley, Miflin, and Gulf Shores.
While I can’t completely rule out a few thunderstorms near the coast overnight, severe weather is not expected. Another round of strong storms will likely develop Thursday afternoon into the evening hours.
Particularly Dangerous Situation (PDS) Tornado Watches are rare. PDS Severe Thunderstorm Watches are even more rare. There is one in effect this evening for parts of Wisconsin, where a nasty cluster of storms is producing 90+ mph wind gusts. pic.twitter.com/WktuWLaOlU
