STORMS OVER WEST ALABAMA… Thunderstorms continue to develop across parts of southwest Alabama this evening. Heavy downpours are again happening near Jackson, Toddtown, Salitpa, and Carlton. These storms are moving northeast.
STORMS POPPING UP NEAR THE COAST… Round #2 for today of showers and thunderstorms is developing near the Alabama and northwest Florida beaches this afternoon. Small showers and storms have developed near Foley, Elberta, Miflin, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Niceville, and Duke Field. These storms are moving northeast.
There is a real chance most spots across our region will have another round of rain and storms before the end of the day. Widespread severe weather, however, is not expected today into tonight.

Heavy rain continues across many communities in south Alabama and northwest Florida, including (but certainly not limited to) Pensacola, Thomasville, Andalusia, Straughn, Rose Hill, Niceville, and Navarre.
