STORMS CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTH… A band of heavy rain and strong thunderstorms continues to move north across our region as of midday Tuesday. Heavy rain extends from Claiborne in Monroe County eastward to Opp in Covington County. This band of storms is producing intense lightning and thunder in parts of the line. The strongest part of this line of storms is happening in eastern Conecuh and northwestern Covington counties near Mt. Union, the Sepulga River, Red Level, River Falls, and Andalusia.

STORMS MOVING NORTH… Thunderstorms continue to spread inland across south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Tuesday morning. Heavy rain is happening near Huxford, Poarch, Brewton, East Brewton, Florala, and Wing.

Quite a bit of cloud-to-ground lightning is happening near Poarch in a stronger storm that is moving into Huxford and Uriah as of 10:07AM.

Storms remain below severe limits.
