SEVERE STORMS MOVING NORTH… NWS Mobile decided to issue a new Severe Thunderstorm Warning (also valid until 5:30PM) for parts of extreme eastern Escambia (AL) and Conecuh counties in south Alabama. This warning joins the other severe thunderstorm warning polygon that was previously issued for much of Covington County.
Gusty winds and small hail will be possible shortly near Dixie, Brooklyn, Boggs & Boulders, Loango, Rome, Solon Dixon Forestry Center, Carolina, and Andalusia. Torrential downpours of heavy rain are also happening.
