STORMS CONTINUE TO POP UP… Just after 3PM and thunderstorms continue to develop across the region. Heavy rain is happening near Jay, Brownsdale, Mt. Carmel, Crestview, and just north of Niceville.
Storms are not moving much at all today due to a lack of upper atmospheric winds, but there is a slight (5 mph) northward movement of these storms.
Widespread severe weather is not expected over the next few hours, but storms are producing cloud-to-ground lightning in some cases.
