The Tornado Watch has been cancelled for Okaloosa County, meaning all local counties have been cancelled. The overall risk of any more severe storms locally today is low. The risk drops to zero later tonight.

The overall tornado risk across southwest Alabama and northwest Florida in areas west of Destin, Niceville, Laurel Hill, and Opp is now very low.

TORNADO WATCH – UPDATE… The Tornado Watch has been cancelled for several more local counties. Escambia (AL), Covington, Escambia (FL), and Santa Rosa counties have been cancelled out of the Tornado Watch.
Okaloosa County is the only local county involved at this point in the active Tornado Watch. Walton County and points southeast in the Florida Panhandle also remain involved.
