STORMS ENTERING ESCAMBIA COUNTY, AL… Heavy rain and thunderstorms are entering Escambia County, AL from the south as of 12:33PM. The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement (yellow polygon on the map attached) for areas near Munson, Alaflora, Roberts, Bradley, and Wing. The storm near Munson may produce small hail and gusty winds up to 40 mph. Rain will begin shortly near Brewton, East Brewton, Pineview, and Poarch.
At Noon, thunderstorms are moving north across parts of Baldwin, Escambia (FL), and Santa Rosa counties. These storms will reach communities like Bay Minette, Atmore, Bratt, Jay, Century, Flomaton, Brewton, East Brewton, and Berrydale over the next 30-45 minutes. pic.twitter.com/LnyOTFmjDe
