MORE STORMS IN THE EXTENDED FORECAST… The good news is we *probably* won’t have as much in the way of severe weather probabilities later this week. Bad news is we keep thunderstorms in the forecast in EACH of the next 7 days.
At 8AM, the Tornado Watch has expired AND we are without a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for any part of our specific local area.
I expect another weather watch to be needed later today when more storms fire up. Be ready for possible warnings later today. pic.twitter.com/3UzjhFIvFo

LOUD STORMS NEAR BREWTON… Thunderstorms rapidly popping up in central Escambia County, AL near Brewton, Pineview, and Appleton are capable of producing gusty winds of 30-40 mph, heavy rain, and cloud-to-ground lightning. Loud thunder is happening with these developing storms that are moving east at 30-35 mph. No warnings, for now, as storms remain below severe limits.
BE ABLE TO HEAR WARNINGS TODAY INTO THIS EVENING… All severe weather hazards will be possible again on this Monday. Damaging wind gusts and hail are the most concerning hazards. A few tornadoes may also be possible.
