RAIN AND STORMS LIKELY AT TIMES TODAY… High rain chances and a few stronger storms will be possible today across the region, mainly between 11AM and 8PM. High temperatures will be in the 90s with heat index values in the 105-110° range.
LOW-END SEVERE WEATHER RISK LATER TODAY… There is a low-end, Level 1 (out of 5) severe weather risk in place for south Alabama and northwest Florida later today due to thunderstorms that may produce damaging wind gusts.
There is no formal tornado risk.
HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT TODAY… A Heat Advisory is in effect for later today for Washington, Mobile, Baldwin, Escambia (AL), Covington, Escambia (FL), Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa counties. 105-110° heat index values are expected again.
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected across the region on Saturday, from the late morning to the evening hours.
