COOL DAYS, COLD NIGHTS, & DRY THIS WEEK… Sunny, nice weather is expected today, tomorrow, and on Wednesday as we kick off a streak of quiet weather days. High temperatures will be in the 50s today. Get ready for a cold night with overnight lows at or near the freezing mark tonight, particularly farther inland. If you have had a project that requires several days of sunshine, now is a great time to start as dry conditions will prevail across south Alabama and northwest Florida through Friday.
NEXT RAIN CHANCE LATE SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY… Dry weather will persist through at least Friday and probably into Saturday. Our next chance of rain happens on Saturday in the late evening hours into Sunday as an area of low pressure develops to our west and likely pushes just to our south across the northern Gulf. This feature will bring in quite a bit of moisture on Sunday that will allow scattered to numerous showers to develop across the region. For now, severe weather seems unlikely. I will monitor trends over the next several days and bring you the latest in the RedZone Weather app.
APP… If you havenโt already, be sure to download the free RedZone Weather app to keep up with all the latest information on the world of weather in south Alabama and northwest Florida. redzoneweather.com/app is the link for the free download. Once you have the app downloaded to your iOS or Android device, be sure to visit the Alerts tab (lower right corner) and tap the Alert Settings button to customize the alerts you would like to receive straight from me.
See all the details in your Monday morning RedZone Weather forecast video. Have a great day!
