SPOTTY SHOWERS TODAY; ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS LIKELY WEDNESDAY… Mostly cloudy skies will persist throughout the day on this Tuesday. Isolated showers will be possible across the region throughout the day. Not every community will have rain around today but we will have more rain and storms around tomorrow, particularly in the afternoon and evening hours. High temperatures will be about ten degrees warmer than yesterday with most spots peaking in the upper-60s.

LOW-END SEVERE WEATHER RISK TOMORROW IN P.M. HOURS… The Storm Prediction Center has included parts of southwest Alabama in a low-end, Level 1 (out of 5) severe weather risk valid for tomorrow (Wednesday). This low-end severe weather risk zone is in place due to the potential for a few stronger storms tomorrow, primarily in the afternoon and evening hours. Gusty winds will likely be the hazard of concern in any storms that can become strong or severe. The overall tornado risk is expected to remain quite low.

RAIN & STORMS LIKELY THROUGH SATURDAY… An unsettled weather pattern is in store each day through Saturday with multiple chances of rain and thunderstorms. In addition to the low-end severe weather risk setting up for Wednesday, we also may have a risk of stronger storms on Friday and/or Saturday. Details will come into better focus over the next few days.
