RAIN & STORMS LIKELY LATER THIS WEEK; DONE WITH FREEZING TEMPS FOR THE WEEK… Sprinkles and light rain will become possible this afternoon into this evening closer to the coast but most of us will remain dry on this Monday. High temperatures will be in the upper-50s today. The next few days will be increasingly wet. Rain and thunderstorms are likely at times on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Temperatures will be much warmer than the last few weeks with most spots topping out in the 70s starting on Wednesday.

SPRINKLES & LIGHT RAIN POSSIBLE TODAY… Most locales across south Alabama and northwest Florida will remain dry today but a few sprinkles and areas of light rain may become possible across parts of west Alabama and closer to the immediate coast. Any rain should be light and short-lived. Rain chances will increase across the region tonight after sunset. Rain may become a bit heavier overnight into Tuesday when scattered showers will become more likely. High temperatures will be in the mid- to upper-50s across the region today.

SCATTERED SHOWERS ON TUESDAY… Showers will become more numerous across the region on Tuesday. There is a chance of a few rumbles of thunder closer to the coast tomorrow afternoon and evening. Severe storms are not expected on Tuesday in our region. High temperatures will be about 10 degrees warmer than today on Tuesday with most spots ending up in the upper-60s by 3PM.

RAIN & THUNDERSTORMS LIKELY AT TIMES WEDNESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY… An active weather pattern sets up for the latter half of the week and into the weekend with multiple waves of rain and thunderstorms being likely. There is a chance we see a few stronger storms setting up toward the end of the week, potentially on Saturday, but details remain a bit murky as of now. This is something I will watch and bring you the latest details in the RedZone Weather app.
