RAIN RETURNS THIS WEEKEND… Temperatures will be in the 60s each afternoon through Thursday with mostly sunny skies each day. Rain is slated to return this weekend.
BECOMING SUNNY TODAY; DRY THROUGH THURSDAY… Skies will become mostly sunny on this Tuesday. High temperatures will be warmer than yesterday with most spots reaching the mid-60s by 2PM. Dry days are expected today, tomorrow, and Thursday ahead of rain chances increasing as we get into the weekend. Rain and thunderstorms will become likely on Saturday and Sunday.
LOWS IN MID-30s TONIGHT… Tonight will be a cold night but temperatures below freezing are not expected. Most spots across inland areas of southwest Alabama will have lows in the mid-30s. Locales closer to the immediate coast will be in the upper-30s and near 40 degrees by daybreak on Wednesday.
RAIN LIKELY AT TIMES FRIDAY P.M. AND INTO WEEKEND… Scattered showers and thunderstorms will become possible on Friday evening and on Saturday and Sunday. Multiple rounds of rain and storms are likely through the weekend. I am not expecting rain all day on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, but I am expecting rain at times. There is a chance we see some strong to severe storms at some point during the weekend, but details on that remain a bit murky for now.
