SCATTERED SHOWERS TODAY; MILD DAYS, COLD NIGHTS AHEAD… Sprinkles and scattered showers will be possible throughout the day on this Monday. Not every community will have rain before the end of the day but some inevitably will. No thunderstorms or severe weather issues are expected across south Alabama and northwest Florida today. High temperatures will be in the 50s today. Temperatures will quickly warm up over the next few days with 60s likely in the afternoon hours of Tuesday and Wednesday. High temperatures will be in the low-70s by Friday.
DRY, MILD DAYS & COLD NIGHTS UPCOMING… Sunny skies will return on Tuesday with high temperatures slated to be in the mid-60s. Overnight lows will be in the upper-30s and low-40s over the next few nights. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be dry and mostly sunny each day.
NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN (AFTER TODAY) HAPPENS THIS WEEKEND… Rain and thunderstorms will again become possible late Friday and into Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures will be in the 70s this weekend. There is some chance we have some strong or marginally severe thunderstorms around, but details on that remain murky for now as we are still 5-6 days out from the potential. This is something I will be monitoring over the next several days. I will have the latest information posted in the RedZone Weather app in the days ahead.
