Scattered thunderstorms continue to develop this afternoon in parts of Clarke, Washington, Choctaw, and Wilcox counties in SW Alabama.
Storms are likely to move into parts of Monroe County, AL soon as well.

WEATHER ALERT… Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Macon-AL County until 1:15 PM.
Alert issued by the National Weather Service BMX at 12:28 PM CDT Friday, March 15, 2024 and is valid until 1:15 PM CDT Friday, March 15, 2024.
Severe Thunderstorm Watch for ALL of south Alabama and northwest Florida till 7PM. Damaging wind gusts, large hail, and a tornado or two are the concerns.
Tornado risk is rather low, but risk of large hail and gusty winds is a bit higher.
