The overall severe weather risk has increased this afternoon into this evening. The entire local area across south Alabama & northwest Florida is now involved in a Level 2 (out of 5) risk. Gusty winds and hail are the main concerns.

STORMS AT TIMES TODAY AND INTO WEEKEND… Rain, thunderstorms, and general unsettled weather are expected through the weekend. Cooler, drier air arrives on Monday after the passage of a cold front. Highs will be in the 60s early next week.
