MOSTLY SUNNY WEDNESDAY; RAIN & STORMS LIKELY THIS WEEKEND… Skies will be mostly sunny on this Wednesday across south Alabama and northwest Florida. High temperatures will be in the mid-70s today. Conditions will be QUITE pleasant this afternoon. Get outside and enjoy it! Looking ahead, a much more unsettled pattern will exist as we go into the weekend. Multiple chances of rain and thunderstorms will happen from late Thursday night to Sunday night. This means that rain and storms will be around at times on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

DRY TODAY, INCREASED RAIN CHANCES THURSDAY NIGHT… Mainly sunny skies will give way to partly cloudy skies overnight into Thursday morning. Clouds will increase in coverage tomorrow evening with a few showers becoming possible after sunset. High temperatures on Thursday will be in the upper-70s and near 80 in most spots.

WET WEEKEND WITH MULTIPLE CHANCES OF RAIN AND STORMS… Wave after wave of rain and thunderstorms will be possible on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A southwesterly flow aloft will usher in multiple rounds of rain and storms. There is a chance that some of the storms become strong on Saturday or Sunday. For now, an organized, significant severe weather event remains unlikely. High temperatures this weekend will be in the upper-70s and near 80 each afternoon.

FEW SHOWERS MONDAY, CLEARING BY TUESDAY… Isolated showers will be possible on Monday ahead of cooler, drier weather on Tuesday into Wednesday of the upcoming week. High temperatures will drop into the 60s by Monday with overnight lows slated to be in the 40s.
