MOSTLY SUNNY WEDNESDAY; WEEKEND TO BE WARM & NICE… Today will be another day with plenty of sunshine across the region. A few passing clouds are likely, particularly farther inland across southwest Alabama. High temperatures will be in the upper-70s and low-80s this afternoon. A few highly isolated showers will become possible later today to our north. There is a fairly high chance all of the rain action stays well to our north, but there may be just enough moisture around to support one or two areas of sprinkles and showers, mainly in areas north of U.S. Highway 84. Most communities will be dry throughout the day.
SHOWERS POSSIBLE TO OUR NORTH THURSDAY… Tomorrow will feature more in the way of clouds across south Alabama and northwest Florida, making for a partly cloudy day. There still will be a good amount of sunshine in the mix. High temperatures will be in the low- to mid-80s on Thursday.
BEAUTIFUL WEATHER THIS WEEKEND… Partly cloudy skies are expected on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. High temperatures will be in the mid-80s with morning lows in the 60s by Saturday morning. No rain is in the forecast on Friday or Saturday and rain chances remain quite low for Sunday as well.
NEXT RAIN CHANCE: NEXT WEEK… Unlike this week, NEXT week will probably feature more in the way of rain and perhaps thunderstorms as well. It remains a bit too early for details to be resolved, but Monday and Tuesday may feature isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms.
