RAIN & STORMS AT TIMES THIS WEEKEND… Multiple rounds of rain and thunderstorms are likely at times this weekend. Greatest chance of rain will likely set up Sunday during the P.M. hours.
Nicer, calmer weather is expected Monday into Tuesday of the upcoming week.
MOSTLY SUNNY AFTERNOON; RAIN & STORMS AT TIMES THIS WEEKEND… Dense fog is happening in many communities across the region this morning. Mostly cloudy skies will gradually become mostly sunny this afternoon into the early evening hours. High temperatures will be in the upper-80s today. Temperatures will be in the 70s this evening just after sunset. Dry conditions are likely across the region today but this weekend will feature active weather with multiple chances of rain and thunderstorms.
DENSE FOG IN MANY COMMUNITIES THIS MORNING… Just like yesterday, please be aware if you’re on the road this morning: There may be patchy areas of dense fog across the region until 9-10AM. Take it slow if you’re headed out early this morning. Fog will be possible again on Saturday morning.
SCATTERED SHOWERS POSSIBLE P.M. SATURDAY… Waves of rain and thunderstorms will become possible across south Alabama and northwest Florida as early as Saturday afternoon. One round of rain and storms will probably become most pronounced across the region on Saturday during the evening hours. Severe storms are not expected Saturday evening. High temperatures will be in the mid-80s on Saturday.
RAIN & STORMS ON SUNDAY… Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue to seem likely for Sunday. Multiple disturbances will move across our area this weekend, prompting multiple rounds of rain and storms. While some of the rain will happen late Saturday evening, it looks like the majority of the rain will happen on Sunday. If you have outdoor plans on Sunday midday, afternoon, and in the evening hours, have an indoor backup plan. Severe storms continue to seem unlikely for Sunday, although cloud-to-ground lightning will be a concern in the storms across the region.
FEW LINGERING SHOWERS EARLY MONDAY; CLEARING LATER IN DAY… Monday will feature clearing skies throughout the day. I cannot completely rule out a few showers early in the morning hours, but much of the day on Monday should be dry. High temperatures on Monday will be in the mid-70s.
MAINLY SUNNY TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY… Sunshine is set to return on Tuesday of the upcoming week with more sunshine in store for Wednesday as well. High temperatures will be in the low-80s on Tuesday with mid-80s likely on Wednesday. Overnight lows will be in the mid-50s.
