MOSTLY SUNNY, NICE MONDAY; DRY WEATHER TILL WEEKEND… Mostly sunny skies are expected across the region on this Monday. High temperatures will be in the low- to mid-80s in most locales with the exception of places right along the beaches and bays that will be in the upper-70s this afternoon. No rain is in the forecast anywhere close by today, tomorrow, or on Wednesday. We will have passing clouds at times each day this week, but no impactful weather is likely other than areas of dense fog being possible in the morning hours. This morning, observations show fog being quite dense in some communities across the region. Dense fog should burn off by 9-10AM.
NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN: SUNDAY INTO MONDAY… Scattered showers and perhaps a few thundursrtoms will become possible on Sunday into Monday, one week from today. It is a bit too early for specifics but right now, parameters seem rather unsupportive of any significant severe weather potential. We are in the peak of our severe weather season, so any system that rolls through our region must be watched carefully. I would imagine we will have some changes in the forecast in 5-7 days so be sure to check back for updates as we get closer to our next chance of rain and thunderstorms.
