NEW STORMS DEVELOPING NEAR MCDAVID… The last few hours have been mostly dry but we are now seeing a new round of storms initiate near McDavid, Bogia, Bluff Springs, and Century in Escambia County, Florida. These storms are moving toward Flomaton, Jay, Brownsdale, and Pollard.

TRENDING DRIER, FOR NOW… The overall coverage of rain and thunderstorms has lessened across the region as of 3:10PM. Lingering showers continue across parts of Covington, Monroe, Conecuh, Butler, and Baldwin counties.
More storms may develop later this evening.
SOGGY AFTERNOON IN MANY LOCAL COMMUNITIES… Scattered rain and thunderstorms continue to move northeast this afternoon across south Alabama and northwest Florida.
More storms will likely pop up into the evening hours. Widespread severe storms remain highly unlikely but storms will be capable of producing loud thunder, cloud-to-ground lightning, and heavy rain.
NUMEROUS STORMS AT MIDDAY… Heavy rain and loud thunderstorms are happening across parts of the region on this Saturday at midday. Storms near Jay, Mt. Carmel, East Brewton, Riverview, Dixonville, Berrydale, Seminole, Lillian, Beulah, Orange Beach, Pensacola, and Gulf Breeze are producing quite a bit of lightning and loud thunder.
More storms will continue to develop and move northeast over the next several hours.
