SCATTERED STORMS CONTINUE THIS EVENING… Thunderstorms continue to pop up and fade away early this evening across south Alabama and northwest Florida. The heaviest rain, at the moment, is happening near Spanish Fort, Stapleton, Steelwood, Holly Hills, and Loxley. Heavy rain is also happening near Mobile Bay, Warrington, NAS Pensacola, Keego, Chumuckla, Andalusia, Sanford, and Freeport.
More pop-up storms are expected to develop over the next several hours. Widespread severe weather remains unlikely.

LOUD, ISOLATED STORMS ACROSS REGION… Heavy downpours of rain are happening near Downtown Mobile, Brewton, Foley, Elberta, and Pensacola. These storms are also producing quite a bit of thunder and lightning. Be inside if you’re near one of these pop-up storms!
