RAIN NEAR THE MOBILE-TENSAW RIVER DELTA… Heavy downpours of rain are happening near Calvert, Mt. Vernon, Stockton, Tensaw, and across the northern part of the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta in Mobile and Baldwin counties.
Showers and storms will fade away over the next few hours.
POP-UP STORMS CONTINUE… Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms continue to pop up and fade away across south Alabama and northwest Florida this evening.
Downpours are happening near Atmore, Canoe, Wawbeek, Davisville, Allentown, Holt, Excel, Uriah, St. Stephens, Silver Cross, and Thomasville as of 4:52PM.

Two areas of showers & brief storms are happening as of 1:56PM. One near Robertsdale and Silverhill in Baldwin County, AL and the other in parts of Okaloosa County near the Eglin reservation and Fort Walton Beach.

SPOTTY STORMS DEVELOPING… Downpours have developed near Navarre, Summerdale, and Gainestown as of 1PM. These small, developing showers and storms are drifting southeast.
More storms are slated to pop up over the next several hours.
MAINLY DRY FOR NOW, P.M. STORMS LIKELY… Scattered clouds have developed across much of the area with more organized, thicker clouds in progress near the Alabama beaches as of Noon.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop as we go into the afternoon and evening hours on this Sunday. Widespread severe storms are not expected, but some of the storms will be loud at times. Not every community will have rain before the end of the day, but many spots across the local area will have rain at times.
A Heat Advisory is in effect today for interior southeast MS, portions of southwest AL and the western FL panhandle from 10 AM to 7 PM. SCATTERED STORMS AGAIN TODAY… More pop-up thunderstorms will be possible at times, particularly as we get into the afternoon and evening hours on this Sunday. High temperatures will be in the mid-90s with heat index values as high as 110°.
