I can’t recall a time in the last several years when a hurricane has collapsed after landfall this quickly. Francine went from a 110 mph, category 2 hurricane at 5PM to a 50 mph tropical storm by 1AM.

🌊Water levels are rising across coastal locations as we head towards high tide. Minor to moderate coastal flooding is expected early Thursday morning with 2-4 ft MHHW inundation for coastal portions of AL and Mobile Bay & up to 2 ft MHHW inundation for coastal portions of NW FL.
