SPOTTY SHOWERS LOCALLY… While we track the main batch of storms happening to our west across parts of Mississippi and Louisiana, we are seeing a few spotty showers develop across parts of south Alabama and northwest Florida.
These showers are producing localized downpours and are drifting northeast.
The low-end severe weather risk kicks off a bit late tonight and will extend into early Monday ahead of sharply colder temperatures.
Multiple tornado warnings across central Mississippi as of 6:47PM. All is quiet currently across south Alabama and northwest Florida for now.

Easy to see why an ongoing severe weather risk continues for parts of Louisiana and Mississippi. Significant, warm surge of Gulf air continues to exist out ahead of a powerful cold front.
Temperatures are in the 60s and 70s locally.
