SCATTERED STORMS… Several areas of heavy rain continue to pop up and drift northeast across south Alabama and NW Florida. The heaviest rain at the moment is happening near Beatrice, Tunnel Springs, and Peterman in northern Monroe County.
I expect storms to fizzle out slowly in the next few hours as we begin to lose daytime heating.
