STORMS CONTINUING TO MOVE IN… Rain and thunderstorms continue to spread across the region early on this Tuesday morning. There have been no tornado warnings or severe thunderstorm warnings over the last hour or so. The overall mismatch of severe weather ingredients (better dynamics well to the north and instability to the south) is helping to keep storms under severe limits.

Thunderstorms will continue to spread eastward across the area over the next several hours. The overall severe weather risk is now LOW, but not zero. This is not a night when strong, long-tracked tornadoes are likely. No need to stay awake and worry as long as you have a way to hear warnings.

I’ll have more updates posted in the next several hours. We will go into live video coverage if tornado warnings become necessary.
