MOSTLY SUNNY & HOT TODAY; RAIN TO RETURN THIS WEEKEND… Temperatures will make a run at the mid-90s on this Tuesday with plenty of sunshine likely throughout the day. Fog is dense in many communities across the region but I expect fog to burn off by 9-10AM at the latest. Rain chances are slated to remain rather low until Friday ahead of higher rain chances as we go into the upcoming weekend.

LOW RAIN CHANCES TOMORROW THROUGH FRIDAY… Partly cloudy skies are expected tomorrow, Thursday, and on Friday. High temperatures will be in the upper-80s and low-90s each day with morning lows in the upper-60s. Rain chances will consistently be low, but perhaps not zero with a shower or two being possible. MOST communities will remain dry Wednesday through Friday.

SCATTERED STORMS THIS WEEKEND INTO NEXT WEEK… We will have a pattern flip of sorts with daily pop-up showers and thunderstorms becoming likely on Saturday and Sunday. Most of the storms (not all, but most) will happen in the afternoon and evening hours each day. High temperatures will be in the mid-80s this weekend.

TROPICAL UPDATE… Tropical storm formation is not expected in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, or the Atlantic Ocean over the next 5-7 days. The 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season begins this Saturday, June 1.
