MORE POP-UP STORMS TODAY, WEDNESDAY, AND THURSDAY… Thunderstorms are likely to pop up later this morning and into the afternoon hours as an increasingly summertime weather pattern continues to take hold across south Alabama and northwest Florida. High temperatures will be in the upper-80s and near the 90 degree mark. Just like yesterday, not every community will have rain before the end of the day. There will, however, be localized downpours that happen. Your location may not get any rain but there may be a rain total of two inches just a mile or two down the road from you. That is the nature of these pop-up storms during summer.

TROPICS QUIET FOR NOW… The 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season is officially underway. The Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, and Atlantic Ocean are quiet with no tropical storms expected to form over the next 5 days. This hurricane season is expected to be quite active.
