Storms are producing quite a bit of lightning across southwest Alabama and northwest Florida. As of 11:21PM, a big cluster of lightning continues to happen near Brewton, Pollard, Boykin, Brooklyn, Evergreen, Castleberry, and Johnsonville. For now, these storms are under severe limits. Very heavy rain is being observed. Don’t get out and drive in this unless necessary… Not a good night for a late night Whataburger run!
Again, widespread severe weather is not expected until later Monday morning. Please have a way to receive urgent weather warnings BEFORE you go to sleep!
