Small showers are producing small, but potent, bursts of rainfall near Atmore, Poarch, Uriah, Huxford, Nokomis, Walnut Hill, Bratt, and Perdido. These showers are not near severe limits as of now. Don’t be surprised to see a downpour of rain in these areas over the next hour. These showers have popped up out ahead of the main line of storms currently draped from Clarke/Washington counties extending back into southeast Mississippi.

Latest radar view as of 1:23PM shows a broken line of showers and thunderstorms moving eastward across much of Clarke, Washington, and Marengo counties in west Alabama. Heavy rain is imminent in Thomasville, Fulton, Grove Hill, Jackson, and Toddtown in Clarke County… So far, no severe weather warnings!

Strong thunderstorms are entering west Alabama as of the Noon hour. Significant Weather Advisory has just been issued for much of Washington, Clarke, and Choctaw counties as storms roll through. This is issued when storms are below severe limits, but winds could gust to 35-45mph.

Storms will move into places like Coffeeville, Campbell, Tallahatta Springs, Citronelle, McIntosh, Jackson, Grove Hill, Thomasville, and Fulton over the next hour.
