TROPICAL STORM WATCH… All of coastal Alabama and northwest Florida is now included in a Tropical Storm Watch, meaning tropical storm conditions are possible in the next 48 hours. Maximum winds at area beaches could reach 40 mph or higher, potentially as early as late Sunday evening.
Inland areas in south Alabama and northwest Florida are not expected to have major wind impacts at this time. Flooding/heavy rain is a huge concern across the area, both in coastal areas and in inland areas.
